A lot of people wonder, if I’m accused of child abuse, should I hire an attorney? The most important thing that a family can do when they’re accused of child abuse is to hire an attorney who specializes in the area of juvenile dependency law. There are many attorneys who work in a lot of different areas, but juvenile dependency is a very specialized area. I would absolutely recommend that a family hire an attorney to represent this interest, to make sure that that attorney is there by their side, to help them navigate through the process.
