Five people have been charged with conspiracy to distribute the powerful drug Ketamine that led to the death of Matthew Perry in October 2023. The FRIENDS actor’s personal assistant, two doctors, and two others have been indicted and charged with providing the ketamine that caused Perry’s death. Authorities stated that as Perry’s ketamine addiction worsened last fall, the group exploited his vulnerable state for financial gain. Lauren Johnson-Norris, a criminal defence attorney in Irvine, California not affiliated with the Perry case, said the doctors’ involvement ‘changes the tune’ in Perry’s death case.
