After a child is detained from the home, the court usually will order that parents participate in family reunification services. Family reunification services often include therapy, parenting classes, and possibly drug or alcohol testing. It’s advised for parents to participate in these services, even if they feel they’re not guilty of the accusations, in order to quickly get their children returned home.
