Lauren, I want to turn to you. What do you make of this latest testimony and where we are right now in this trial?

Well, the defense is adding up all of the problems with the prosecution’s case. You know, they didn’t have this theory the last time around. Now they have a new expert with a new theory who it turns out has lied about his resume, has a different version of the report later in the month.

And he also has now not accounted for three seconds. He didn’t report going by 36 steps that Oki took after the screen was locked. All of these little pieces together are what the defense hopes will show that they have not proven this event occurred the way the prosecution is saying beyond a reasonable doubt.
