Before we do, let's get some guidance from Lauren Johnson Norris. She's watching along with us. What should we be looking for here?

What would you do if you were crossing him? If you were Aaron Nelson, the defense attorney crossing, would you be aggressive here? What would you do?

Well, you're definitely gonna be aggressive because there are some weird parts about this story. First, the prosecutor kept bringing up the not enough bullets line. And I think there must be something out there in a police report.

He didn't make this statement previously. This came out of somewhere. And I would be ready to cross examine on that because it doesn't sound like he said that previously.

You can just tell by the way the prosecutor is asking that question, trying to sanitize it on the front end. And then I'd also wanna ask that question about why is he using the language of the gunman? Who kind of planted that idea in his head because that's not language that regular people use.

That's the language of police. That's the language of courts, but it's certainly not the language of the street. And finally, I would wanna mention that he's got this prior history.

We don't know exactly, I might not know exactly what he has, but the defense is gonna know if he has those crimes of moral turpitude. And how is that consistent with showing up to be the hero in this case? Because clearly he's establishing himself to be someone who came forward to do the right thing, even though it's scary.
